THE PROCESS

The process of Couture begins with a detailed consultation with Lindka Cierach at her Studio, based in the heart of South Kensington.

Lindka and her team use their combined experience to guide you to your perfect choice for your special occasion.

Once the style and fabric of the garment have been chosen, a sketch is drawn and your measurements are taken. A member of the highly specialised team drafts your personal pattern, taking into consideration your posture and proportions.

A toile in a similar cloth is then created for the first fitting, which is fitted by Lindka, to obtain the perfect shape. The pattern is amended and the garment is cut in the chosen cloth. Two further cloth fittings follow, resulting in your finished exquisite and timeless garment. 

The Couture process takes between 6 - 10 weeks, based on the complexity of the design and the availability of the client for their fittings. The Studio is able to create a finished garment within a shorter period of time, dependant on the design.
