Lindka Cierach’s unique talent and unstoppable passion have fuelled her rise to the top of British Couture. Her clients include three generations of the British and European Royal families, International Stars, and many different Celebrities.

Born in Lesotho of Polish-English parents, Lindka spent her early childhood in Africa. Later she was educated in England and following a stint at Vogue Magazine she embarked on a two-year course at the London College of Fashion.

In 1979, eager to pursue her vision, Lindka launched her Couture business. Inspired by her love of luxurious and unique fabrics and using her own inspirational beadwork and embroidery, Lindka designs ultra-feminine, flattering and exquisite Couture.

Today, Lindka works from a studio in South Kensington, an oasis of peace and calm from which dreams are materialised. Her designs range from chic day wear, provocative cocktail, red carpet evening wear to the ultimate in wedding dresses.

Lindka began her career in a mews in Central London and her first commission was a wedding dress for a Bahraini princess, which established her reputation throughout the Middle East. A prestigious and select client base grew internationally through word of mouth.

In 1986 Lindka won global renown when the wedding dress she created for The Duchess of York which dazzled the world. It was seen by more than a billion people. The Daily Telegraph reported: "Everyone, it seemed, could find nothing but praise for her wedding dress for the Duchess of York". The following year Lindka was awarded 'Designer of the Year' and she launched her first ready-to-wear collection which was distributed worldwide.
